By using flame retardant materials in interiors you
reduce the spread of fire, and thus the chances of
injury, from the very start. All the relevant national
and international fire protection tests in Europe, the USA
and Asia have, therefore, placed Trevira CS materials
in the category “flame retardant”.

This particular feature of Trevira CS is built into
its molecular structure and cannot be removed.
Thus the material does not need to be impregnated
and it retains its protective function for always, no
matter what stresses it undergoes in usage and
cleaning.
* Easy care, low-crease and dimensionally stable
* Short wash cycles at low temperatures, saving water,
detergent and energy
* Withstands all methods of disinfection
* High colour brilliance and fastness to light
* High resistance to abrasion
* Flame retardant Trevira fibres and filament yarns are free
from toxic substances (certification to Oeko-Tex Standard 100)
and are anti-allergenic
* No decay or mould
* Permanent flame retardance through controlled
modification of the polyester molecule, not lost as
a result of use, washing or ageing
* Permanently flame retardant without the use of
additional finishes
* No after-glow, very low emission of fumes in the
event of fire
* Safety based on testing and approval of trademarks
* Satisfies all the relevant and important international fire
protection standards: e.g. DIN 4102 Part 1/B1;
ÖNORM 3820/B1, SNV 198898/V; NF P 92501-7/M1;
BS 5867, Part 2 Type C; UNI VF 8456/I;
UNE 23721-27/M1
